Safety
Safety & confidential adviser
At GoGroupNederland, we consider safety and transparency important. Our confidential adviser is there to listen and think along with you if something does not feel right.
Safety
Safety policy at GoGroupNederland
At GoGroupNederland, we attach great importance to safety and transparency. We want to create an environment in which everyone feels seen, respected and safe.
We encourage everyone to first discuss any concerns or conflicts directly with the person involved. This promotes open communication and often helps solve problems respectfully and quickly.
In addition, we have a policy around a confidential adviser. Below you can read how we have organised this and how to get in touch if you have questions or want to make a report.
Confidential adviser
Confidential adviser GoGroupNederland
GoGroupNederland has appointed an internal confidential adviser to ensure a safe environment for visitors, participants, volunteers, employees, minors, vulnerable people and parents.
Our confidential adviser is there to listen and support you in dealing with (suspicions of) inappropriate behaviour, such as:
- bullying;
- violence or aggression;
- manipulation or discrimination;
- (sexual) intimidation;
- other situations that feel unsafe or not okay.
You can get in touch if it concerns yourself, but also if you are worried about someone else within GoGroupNederland.

What can the confidential adviser do for you?
- Listen to your story and support where needed.
- Look together with you at whether an informal solution is possible.
- Provide information about next steps, such as a complaints procedure or a report to external authorities.
- Accompany you if you want to submit your case to a leader, complaints committee or, if necessary, the police.

Confidentiality & exceptions
Everything you discuss with the confidential adviser is, in principle, treated confidentially . Information is not shared with others lightly.
Only with your permission can steps be taken towards leadership, those involved or external authorities.
In exceptional situations — for example in cases of acute danger or if there is (imminent) danger to you or others — it may be necessary to take action or involve emergency services. Where possible, this is done in consultation with you.
